Mr LIM Chow-Kiat is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GIC. As Chief Executive Officer, Mr LIM holds the responsibility for the overall performance and capabilities of GIC. In particular, he drives and integrates the long-range investment and organizational vision and strategy. He joined GIC in 1993 as a portfolio manager. He has held various leadership roles, including most recently as Group Chief Investment Officer, and previously as President of Public Markets, President of Europe and Director of Fixed Income Currency and Commodity.
Mr LIM is a board member of the National Research Foundation. In addition, he is a trustee of Nanyang Technological University, Chairman of Wealth Management Institute, member of Strategic Committee of Agence France Tresor, board member of Focusing Capital on the Long Term Global and a member of Mizuho Financial Group’s Global Council. He is also Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee for the Lee Kuan Yew Education Fund as well as the Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism.
Mr. Lim graduated with first-class honors in accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA).
