Rui Mao

Rui Mao is an accomplished Research Scientist and Lead Investigator at Nanyang Technological University since November 2020, specializing in NLP, Cognitive Computing, Quantitative Finance, and Explainable AI while leading research teams towards project and publication goals. As the Founder and General Manager of Ruimao Tech since March 2020, Rui Mao focuses on strategies in the search engine business, product management, searching algorithms, and NLU research, alongside managing financing and partner relationships. Previously, Rui Mao held a research scientist position at Amazon, worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Aberdeen, and served as Strategy Director at Hodo Group Company Yuandong Co., Ltd. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen, an MSc in Business Analytics from the University of Surrey, and a BBA from Nanjing College for Population Programme Management.
