Tan Aik Na

Ms Tan Aik Na is Vice ​President (Administration) at NTU Singapore.

She joined NTU in August 2016 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)–Designate and assumed the role of CFO on 1 January 2017. She was concurrently appointed Chief Administrative Officer on 1 April the same year.

Ms Tan is responsible for accelerating NTU’s drive for a modernised administration to support the continued growth ambitions of the University. Under her direction, the Administrative functions will focus on strengthening organisational and workforce capabilities and through the greater use of technological enablers to optimise processes and efficiency.

Prior to joining NTU, Ms Tan served as Finance Transformation Leader of The Chemours Company, a spin-off from DuPont. She was previously CFO for DuPont’s S$5-billion Titanium Technologies business globally and continued in that role with Chemours.

Ms Tan began her professional career as a tax assistant at Price Waterhouse. She joined DuPont in 1994 and held numerous leadership roles in accounting, financial systems, corporate treasury, operations, supply chain, strategic planning and analysis until her departure to join Chemours in 2015.

She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from NTU and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
