Xin Li is a highly experienced engineering professional with expertise in aircraft design, certification, and avionics systems. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Xin Li leads the development of Singapore's first electrical vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL). Prior to this role, Xin Li held various positions at Dornier Seawings GmbH, including Head of Engineering, where certification accomplishments for the Seastar amphibious aircraft were achieved. Xin Li's background includes work as a Certification Verification Engineer and Technical Assistant to the CTO, demonstrating a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and cross-functional collaboration. Earlier experience at Shenyang Aircraft Design and Research Institute involved designing avionics systems and testing, complemented by advanced degrees in engineering from Nanyang Technological University and Northeastern University.
