Danna C. Wong

Danna C. Wong has extensive experience in the education field. Danna C. started their career in 1996 as a Teacher in the Washoe County School District. From 1996 to 2000, they taught various subjects. Danna C. then joined the Douglas County School District in 2000 and worked as a Teacher, as well as being a part of the Site Technology Team and District Technology Steering Committee until 2009. Danna then moved to the Washoe County School District in 2009 where they served as a Resource Specialist and Co-Teacher at a new technology middle school, teaching Directed Studies, English, and Math. Danna C. was responsible for developing and implementing Individual Educational Plans. Since 2010, they have been working at the Napa Valley Unified School District as a 6th Grade Language Arts & Social Studies- Core Curriculum & ELD Instructor.

Danna C. Wong has a diverse education history. Danna C. began their educational journey by obtaining a High School Diploma from Edward C. Reed in 1988. Danna C. pursued higher education at the University of Nevada, Reno from 1990 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Elementary and Special Education. Continuing their education, Danna earned a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University between 2004 and 2006. In 2012, they pursued a Certificate in California Teacher of English Learners (CELT) at Brandman University. Lastly, in 2014, Danna completed an Autism Spectrum Disorder Authorization program at Alliant International University-San Francisco Bay.
