Gregory Meza has a diverse work experience in various education-related roles. Gregory started in 2012 as a Green Team Sustainability Educator at Western Oregon University. In 2014, they worked as an Instructional Assistant II in the Beyond The Bell After School Enrichment Program at Central School District 13J. Gregory then joined Napa Valley Unified School District in 2015, initially as a Job Placement Specialist and later transitioned to a Work Based Learning Specialist role in July 2018. Concurrently, they also served as a JV Football Defensive Line Coach at Vintage High School starting in March 2015. In 2019, Gregory joined CA WorkAbility I where they held the positions of Business, Education and Labor Committee Region 3 Alt Representative from May 2019, and then as a Wage, Labor, and Safety Committee Region 3 Representative from March 2021 to July 2023.

Gregory Meza has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Criminal Justice and Anthropology. Gregory obtained this degree from Western Oregon University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to attending Western Oregon University, Gregory attended Foothill College from 2008 to 2010 and Vintage High School from 2004 to 2007, where they received a high school diploma. Gregory'sfield of study during their time at Foothill College was General Education, while at Vintage High School, they pursued a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates program.
