Laura Dayton

Laura Dayton has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Laura started their career in 1978 at Runner's World as an Editorial Director, where they worked on various magazines and promotional events. After the magazine was sold in 1985, Laura continued to work on other publishing projects. In 1984, they joined Strength Training for Beauty as an Editor, handling multiple duties and responsibilities. In 2012, Laura worked as a Neighborhood Team Leader for Obama for America, Organizing for America (OFA). Laura also worked as an Author/Editor at Dayton Publications since 2005, focusing on professional editing in various fields. Additionally, Laura worked as a K9 Trainer at Astro's Agility Academy in 2013 and as part of the Leadership Team for the League of Women Voters, Napa County in 2014. Currently, Laura is employed by the Napa Valley Unified School District as a Language Arts Teacher and Teacher since 2015. Laura Dayton completed their undergraduate studies at Napa Valley College from 1969 to 1978. During this time, they also pursued their Bachelor's degree in Journalism at San Jose State University. Additionally, Laura completed coursework for a Master's degree in Mass Communications at San Jose State University from 1975 to 1978, focusing on journalism and marketing.
