Christine Liu

Christine Liu has a diverse range of work experience. Christine began their career in 2007 as an Office Assistant at EKLA Corporation, where they worked until 2011. In 2012, they became a Financial Aid Office Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they stayed until 2014.

In 2013, Christine also took on the role of Green Business Certification Consultant at the Illinois Green Business Association, where they provided sustainability consulting to businesses seeking green certification. Christine also conducted research on conservation strategies and contributed to the development of a certification checklist.

Starting in 2013 and lasting until 2015, Christine worked as a Farm Intern at The Conservation Foundation.

From 2017 to 2018, Christine worked as a GIS Technician at EN Engineering. In this role, they assisted in designing population assessments and creating as-built drawings using GIS software.

Since 2018, Christine has been employed by the City of Naperville. Christine started as an Engineering Technician and was responsible for various GIS tasks, including development, editing, and automation. Christine Liu obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a focus on Earth, Society, and Environmental Sustainability from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Christine'seducation at this institution lasted from 2011 to 2015. In 2014 to 2015, they attended Stockholm University, where they pursued studies in Physical Geography and Quaternary Geology, but it does not specify if they obtained a degree. From 2017 to 2019, Christine Liu attended the College of DuPage, where they completed a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certificate, specializing in Geographic Information Science and Cartography.
