Wafa Badwan

Wafa Badwan is a highly skilled nephrologist with extensive experience in academic and clinical settings. Currently serving as a Nephrologist at NaphCare, Inc. since November 2022, Wafa previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Nephrology at East Carolina University from December 2015 to October 2023 and at Marshall University from December 2013 to January 2015. Prior clinical experience includes working as a Hospitalist in Internal Medicine at Eastern Hospitalists from November 2008 to November 2013, as well as serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at East Carolina University from December 2010 to October 2013. Wafa Badwan completed a Nephrology Residency Program and an Internal Medicine Residency Program at East Carolina University, culminating in a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree obtained from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
