Shankarprasad Madiraju

Shankarprasad Madiraju has a strong and extensive work experience in the technology and product delivery field. Shankarprasad is currently the Director of Technology at Firstsource since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Product Delivery at Napier Healthcare starting from November 2016. Before that, they held the position of Director of Product Engineering at Optum Global Solutions from July 2013. At Optum, they were responsible for managing the delivery of various software products and establishing a technology delivery center in India. Preceding their role at Optum, Shankarprasad worked as a Director at Cognizant from July 2006. Furthermore, they started their career at Tata Consultancy Services as an Associate Consultant in February 1992 and worked there until July 2006.

Shankarprasad Madiraju holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, which they obtained from 1990 to 1991. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Production and Industrial Engineering from M.G.M's Jawaharlal Nehru College of Engineering from 1984 to 1988. Shankarprasad also pursued further education in Industrial management at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. In terms of certifications, they have obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2021 and is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
