Dr. Vimal Raj

Dr. Vimal Raj serves as a Senior Consultant Radiologist and Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging at Narayana Health since September 2012, with an extensive background in cardiovascular imaging. In addition to this role, Dr. Raj contributes as an Associate Editor for the Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging and is actively involved in several professional organizations, including serving as Executive Secretary for the Indian Association of Cardiac Imaging and as a Board Member for the European Society of Cardiology. Dr. Raj co-founded the Society of Chest Imaging and Intervention and has held various positions, including Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps and Consultant Radiologist at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Dr. Raj's educational foundation includes an MBBS from Government Medical College, Jammu, and key early training in cardiothoracic radiology.
