Steven Schwartz has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2000, they began their career as Vice President of Global Business Development at Multex. In 2003, they took on the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager at Reuters Group PLC, where they had P&L responsibility for a fast-growing $40 million digital media business. In 2006, they became Chief Operating Officer at The NewsMarket. In 2008, they were appointed General Manager at Reader's Digest, followed by Chief Digital Officer at Wenner Media in 2009. In 2011, they were appointed Executive Vice President and Global Managing Director of Reuters, where they ran the Reuters news business P&L and was responsible for over $350 million in revenue. In 2015, they became President of Commercial Markets at Dataminr, Inc. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Operating Officer at Thrive Global, where they founded and led the corporate and consumer well-being and productivity platform. In 2020, they took on the roles of Fractional Chief Operating Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Narrative I/O. Most recently, in 2022, they founded Anchor Consulting to offer their skills and experience to founders and CEOs who want help scaling their businesses.
Steven Schwartz attended Albany Law School from 1990 to 1993, graduating with a Juris Doctor, cum laude. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware in 1988, with honors.
