Jeffrey Booth

Jeffrey Booth is an accomplished professional in the field of astronomy and physics, currently serving as Deputy Director at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since February 2001. Booth has held prominent roles including Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager for Astronomy & Physics Formulation, as well as Manager for Astronomy and Physics Competed Missions and Technology. Responsibilities include space mission development, investment budgeting, strategic planning, and proposal development. Additionally, Booth's experience includes a tenure as Group Supervisor for Astronomy & Physics Mission Architecture and Systems Engineering and a position as Systems Engineer. Previously, Booth was a Visiting Researcher in the Astronomy department at the University of Padova, Italy. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Physics from UC Irvine and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University.
