Jonathan Becktor

Jonathan Becktor is an accomplished robotics technologist with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Currently serving as Robotics Technologist III at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since May 2023, Jonathan has a rich background that includes a role as a Ph.D. Candidate at DTU Electro, where research focused on robust machine learning for perception. Previous positions at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Visiting Student Researcher involved developing robust perception techniques for pose estimation of non-cooperative satellites. Jonathan's professional journey also includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at 3Shape and Software Developer at Greenwave Systems Inc and ConSolutions ApS, along with experience as a Swimming Coach at Gentofte Svømmeklub. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Philosophy from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, along with multiple degrees in Computer Software Engineering from DTU and Keio University.
