JonLuc Christensen, MLIS, DAM Cert. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. JonLuc began their career at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they served as the JPL Records Manager, Technical Group Lead for Records & Archives, and Information/Configuration Management Engineer. JonLuc was responsible for administering the Records Management Program and developing a holistic approach to Electronic Records Management initiatives. JonLuc also served as the FOIA Lead, coordinating responses to Freedom of Information Act requests.

In academia, Christensen worked as an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University, teaching in the Information Science and Data Analytics program. JonLuc developed and taught the curriculum for a core course.

JonLuc was actively involved in the Special Libraries Association (SLA), serving as a Director and participating in board meetings to support the association's mission and goals. JonLuc Christensen, MLIS, DAM Cert, has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in Anthropology, from California State University, Fullerton, from 2012 to 2016. JonLuc also completed their high school education at Los Alamitos High School, receiving a Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma in 2012. Additionally, they hold a California Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit obtained from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in December 2016, and a Notary Public certification obtained from the California Secretary of State in December 2015.
