Patrick Spieler

Patrick Spieler is an accomplished Robotics Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since June 2021 and also serves as Research Engineer Design Lead and Research Engineer at Caltech from January 2019. Previously, Patrick was a Robotics and Vision Intern at iRobot in 2018 and worked as an Electrical & Test Engineer at ASTROCAST from September 2016 to September 2017, contributing to a global nanosatellite network. Additionally, Patrick volunteered as an Electronics & Embedded Software Engineer with the Autonomous Robotics Club of Canton Vaud from January 2013 to July 2017, participating in the Eurobot International Competition, and co-founded WISE Robotics, providing engineering solutions in robotics. Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Robotics and Autonomous Systems with a Minor in Space Technology from EPFL, and a Bachelor's Degree in Microengineering from the same institution, in addition to a high school diploma focused on Physics and Applied Mathematics.
