Tae Kim

Tae Kim's work experience includes a position as Lead Manufacturing Engineer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since 2017. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Tae worked at PB Fasteners as an Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for various aspects, including engineering and planning, financial management, staffing, strategic development, and process development. Tae also served as the Fuse Pin Program Manager, overseeing pricing, delivery, planning, manufacturing, and capital expenditures. Before PB Fasteners, Tae held the role of Product Engineer & AQS Manager at Air Industries (Precision Castparts Corporation) from 2010 to 2013, where they focused on reducing manufacturing lead time and costs through lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques. Tae's previous experience includes roles at PCC Airfoils and Air Industries Company (Precision Castparts Corporation) as a Wax Assembly Dept. Supervisor, Sales Account Manager, Production Control Specialist, and Process Engineer.

Tae Kim pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester from 2003 to 2007. Tae then went on to attend Carnegie Mellon University from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
