A. Mark Settles is an accomplished professional in the field of plant biology and genetics, currently serving as the Synthetic Biology Lead at NASA since January 2021. Prior to this role, A. Mark Settles also held various academic positions at the University of Florida from March 1999 to January 2021, including Vasil-Monsanto Professor of Plant Cell and Molecular Biology, as well as Associate and Assistant Professor.
