Alexander MacDonald

Alexander MacDonald is the current Chief Economist at NASA. Alexander has previous experience working as an Executive Staff Specialist in the Civil and Commercial Space Division at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and as a Senior Fellow at TED Conferences. Alexander also spent six years as a Program Manager in the Emerging Space Office at NASA Ames Research Center.

Alexander MacDonald studied economics at Queen's University and then went on to study a Master of Arts in Economics at The University of British Columbia. Alexander is currently completing their DPhil in Economic Theirtory at the University of Oxford.

Their manager is Susie Perez Quinn, Chief of Staff. They are on a team with Margaret Vo Schaus - CFO, James D. Polk - Chief Health and Medical Officer, and Bale Dalton - Deputy Chief of Staff.
