Amy Ellison began their career at NASA, where they tested space station Extravehicular Activity (EVA) design and assembly. They served as the Chief EVA Engineer for the Astronaut Office from 2012 to 2016, managing various spacewalks and advanced spacesuit development. Currently, Amy is the Deputy Project Manager for the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, overseeing upgrades for cosmic particle data collection. They hold a Master of Science in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota, along with undergraduate degrees from Texas A&M University and Sam Houston State University.
