Bruce Askins has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as the SLS OCSO - Infrastructure Management & Security Lead at NASA since August 1981. Bruce has held various leadership roles, including Integrated Vehicle Ground Vibration Test (IVGVT) Lead, Ares I-X Project Integration Manager, and Special Test Equipment Design Engineer. In addition to aerospace work, Bruce has also been involved with the American Heart Association since October 1980, where responsibilities include teaching Basic Cardiac Life Support, CPR/AEDs, choking, and First Aid as an AHA BLS Instructor and Instructor Trainer. Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville between 1981 and 1987 and received training from Dale Carnegie.
