Crystal Haddock has an extensive career at NASA, serving since April 1987 in various leadership capacities, notably as the Lead for Gateway for Requirements Development & Digital Architecture, which supports the Artemis program's lunar exploration. Haddock has influenced critical projects such as the Commercial Utilization in Low Earth Orbit initiative and the NextSTEP-2 Broad Agency Announcement, emphasizing public-private partnerships for deep space research. With a solid background in environmental health, system management, and robotic hardware, Haddock has managed significant technical teams and programs to ensure crew safety and spacecraft functionality. In addition to engineering roles, Haddock is a certified instructor with experience teaching Spinning® classes at multiple fitness centers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, along with studies in Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University.
