David Reynolds has extensive experience in aerospace and industrial design, currently serving as the Assistant Manager/COO of the Space Systems Department at NASA since January 2017, where responsibilities include ensuring efficient department operations. Previously, as a Special Assistant in the same department, David led projects focused on the planning and logistics of new Science and Engineering Lab capabilities, collaborating closely with various management levels. David's background also includes work as an Equipment Specialist for Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS), contributing to advancements in ISS systems and deep space exploration, while promoting innovation as the Center Innovation Champion. David began a career in industrial design as an Industrial Designer at Shelby Williams, focusing on product development in the commercial furniture industry. David holds a degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University, obtained between 1982 and 1989.
