David Rutishauser

Avionics Lead, Safe and Precise Landing Integrated Capabilities Evolution (SPLICE) Project

David Rutishauser is an expert in avionics technology development with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the aerospace industry. They worked at NASA in various roles, including Avionics Lead for the SPLICE Project and System Responsible Engineer for the Space Shuttle Program, where they supported critical flight software and data management systems. David also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston, teaching a graduate course in high-performance reconfigurable computing, and held positions at General Electric Aircraft Engines and Raytheon Missile Systems. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and have contributed significantly to aerospace technology through research and technical publications.
