Eric Stewart

Aerospace Engineer

Eric Stewart is an accomplished Aerospace Engineer at NASA since January 2014, specializing in the SLS coupled loads and modal analysis while leading multi-discipline teams for dynamics risk assessments and vehicle dynamics updates. With significant experience in analytics and uncertainty quantification for flight criteria, Stewart has also contributed as the loads lead for the Mars Ascent Vehicle. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, where innovative methods for micro air vehicle design were developed, and an internship at Space Exploration Technologies involved performing Monte Carlo simulations and creating software for flight monitoring. Stewart holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and additional degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
