Jonny Kim

Jonny Kim is currently an astronaut at NASA, having served in this role since 2017. Previously, they were an enlisted member of the US Navy from 2012 to 2017, where they achieved the rank of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class and Special Warfare Operator 1st Class. Jonny completed a residency in emergency medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2016 to 2017. They also underwent flight training and became an aeromedical dual designator Naval Aviator. Jonny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of San Diego and is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School.
