Victor Glover is a NASA astronaut and U.S. Navy Captain who was selected as an astronaut in 2013 while serving as a Legislative Fellow. They are currently training for Crew-1, the first post-certification mission of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft. Glover served as a test pilot for various military aircraft and has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Black Engineer of the Year Award in 2009. They hold graduate degrees in Systems Engineering, Military Operational Art and Science, and Flight Test Engineering, and earned a BS in General Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where they were also a NCAA Division-I wrestler and football player. Glover actively advocates for underrepresented youths in higher education and is involved with several professional organizations and mentorship programs.
