Nancy Rustemeyer, PMP, serves as an AST Engineering Project Manager at NASA since January 2017, overseeing IRIS Mission Operations and managing several high-profile projects including SOFIA Instrument Development. Prior to NASA, Nancy held the position of Space Biosciences Project Lead & Payload Engineer at ASRC Federal Space and Defense, focusing on operations for the International Space Station. With extensive experience at United Space Alliance and Rockwell International, Nancy has managed critical projects including the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle and various space station assembly missions, showcasing a strong background in engineering project management and leadership. Nancy earned a B.S. in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has additional education from the University of Houston and San Jacinto College.
