Samiah Moustafa

Program Manager

Samiah Moustafa is a Program Manager at NASA since June 2021, serving as the Associate Director of Research and Educational Development and Senior Grants & Contracts Administrator, along with a focus on community success leadership. Prior to this role, Samiah was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Brown University from September 2017 to August 2021, involved in environmental studies and serving as Program Coordinator for the IBES-Leadership Alliance summer research program. Samiah has also contributed to NASA's Student Airborne Research Program as a Coding Mentor and has held positions as a lecturer and researcher at Rutgers University and NASA, collaborating on projects related to environmental science, remote sensing, and ocean modeling. Samiah earned a Ph.D. in Cryospheric Sciences from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Geography from the University of Florida.
