Alex Weaver

Alex Weaver is an accomplished reporter and host at NASCAR since August 2017, serving also as the Senior Coordinator of Video Strategy. Prior experience includes roles as a Multimedia Journalist and Reporter at Raycom Media, where responsibilities encompassed pitching stories, editing scripts, shooting video, and covering major sporting events. A background in sports reporting is further highlighted by time at the ACC Digital Network and ESPN, covering college football and producing self-generated content. Weaver’s career began with a strong foundation in sports media at Clemson University, culminating in a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies.
