William Gao

William Gao has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. William started their career as a Software Developer at Okey Labs in 2016, followed by roles as a Portfolio Analytics Developer at TD in 2017 and as a Software Developer at Intelex Technologies Inc. in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at both NVIDIA and Instagram. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Meta. William then joined Amazon Development Center in 2022 as a Software Developer, where they developed features for distributed Java Spring web applications and prototyped a react website. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Nasdaq Private Market since 2023. Throughout their career, William has gained experience in various technologies such as AWS tools, CloudWatch, Logstash, and Kabana monitoring services.

William Gao completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, which they pursued from 2015 to 2020. In addition, they obtained the Focus On Information Technology (FIT) Certificate - Industry Seal from the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) in June 2015. Furthermore, William also received certifications from Cisco, including the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching in July 2015.
