Sooraj Pottekat

Sooraj Pottekat is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and system design. Currently serving as Lead/Director at Nasdaq since May 2018, Sooraj plays a critical role in delivering capital market services in electronic trading and risk management. Prior to this, a career at MultiChoice as a Senior Embedded Java Consultant spanned from November 2010 to May 2018, contributing to video entertainment solutions for the African market. As a Senior Software Engineer at Tata Elxsi from August 2007 to November 2010, responsibilities included developing embedded solutions and digital signal processing. Earlier experience includes a position as Member Technical Staff at Avenir, focusing on communication and collaboration tools. Sooraj holds a Master of Science in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.
