Daniel Powell

Director Of Data Systems at Nashville CARES

Daniel Powell has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Daniel began their career at the PENCIL Foundation in 2008, where they served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA Marketing Manager and later as a Site Supervisor/Data Manager. In 2009, they joined the TN Literacy Coalition as a Program Supervisor. Powell then transitioned to Nashville CARES in 2013, starting as a Nutrition Services Coordinator before becoming a Support Services Coordinator in 2015. Daniel was promoted to Associate Director of Behavioral Health and Support Services in 2016, and most recently served as the Director of Data Systems starting in 2018.

Daniel Powell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Centre College from 2003 to 2007.
