Helge Rager Furuseth

Helge Rager Furuseth is currently the Deputy Director General of the Norwegian National Security Authority, a position held since March 2011, with roles including Acting Director General and Assistant Director. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Officer at the European Commission, Project Manager for the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, and Chairman of the NEC CCIS Security Accreditation Board. Additionally, Helge has held roles as a Senior Adviser in the Norwegian Ministry of Agriculture and Food and as a secondary school teacher. Educational qualifications include multiple master’s degrees from the University of Oslo, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and OsloMet, as well as a senior executive course from Forsvarets høgskole.
