John Erik Halse

John Erik Halse started their work experience in 1995 as the Director of IT at Det teologiske Menighetsfakultet, where they worked until 2001. In 2001, they joined the National Library of Norway as a Software Developer. In 2003, they moved to the Internet Archive, where they worked as a Software Developer and contributed to the creation of an Internet-scale webcrawler called heritrix. In 2004, their role at the Internet Archive ended.

John Erik Halse's education history begins with their attendance at Øvrebyen Videregående Skole from 1985 to 1988. John Erik then went on to study Music at Høgskolen i Staffeldtsgate from 1988 to 1990. Subsequently, from 1990 to 1994, John attended The Norwegian School of Theology (MF), though their field of study is unspecified. Lastly, they pursued Informatics at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1995 to 1996.
