Waseem Mian

Waseem Mian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both aviation maintenance and project coordination. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at JFK Masjid Inc since July 2023, Waseem is committed to non-profit organizational management. A long-standing member of Delta Air Lines since July 1991, Waseem has held various titles, including Sr. IT Project Coordinator and Aircraft Maintenance Technician, managing projects across the Delta NYC region and performing critical maintenance on aircraft to meet Delta and FAA specifications. Additional roles have included Supervisory positions in airport lounges and ticketing operations, as well as teaching aviation maintenance as a Substitute Instructor at Nassau BOCES. Waseem's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kaplan University, alongside an Associate degree in Airframe Mechanics from Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology.
