Deborah Spiro

Deborah Spiro, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Distance Education at Nassau Community College, a position held since June 2008, where responsibility includes overseeing the distance education program, including online and hybrid courses. Previous experience includes roles as an Instructional Designer, Adjunct Instructor at Molloy College and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online, and as an Educational Technology Consultant for Spiro TechCommunications and Teaching Matters, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Instructional Technology/Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University, a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science from Binghamton University.
