Tara Chambers

Tara Chambers has extensive experience in the finance industry, with a focus on insurance companies. Tara began their career as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young, where they managed audit engagements for various public and private companies. In 2008, they joined Universal American as a Manager of FP&A, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for a $5.7 billion revenue public company. Tara then moved to Office Depot as a Senior Finance Manager before returning to Universal American as a Director of Financial Reporting. In this role, they were responsible for financial reporting and played a significant role in implementing a new financial analysis system. Tara's most recent position was at Nassau, where they served as 2nd VP of Finance. During their 12 years with the company, they had increasing levels of responsibility and served as the primary liaison with outsourced actuarial firms and third-party administrators. Tara also completed three mergers and was known for their excellence, strategic insight, and ability to manage through complex issues.

Tara Chambers completed their undergraduate education between 2000 and 2004 at Seton Hall University. Tara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Accounting.
