Navanit Samaiyar

Navanit Samaiyar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Navanit has worked as the Head of Future Skills at NASSCOM, where they focused on developing new age skills for IT and non-IT employees. Navanit also served as a Member of the Governing Board at the Alliance of Skill Training Partners (ASTP), where they played a key role in policy advocacy and ecosystem enablement for the skilling industry in India.

In addition, Navanit has worked as a Principal Advisor and Director at GAC Consultants LLP, where they specialized in funding and scaling startups, as well as assisting global organizations with their India entry strategies. Navanit also served as a Director at an IoT startup called HAL Robotics, where they contributed to building go-to-market strategies and securing funding.

Furthermore, Navanit has held senior leadership positions at companies like Clove Dental, IBM, Genpact, GE, and Tata Steel. Navanit has been responsible for various aspects of business operations, including P&L management, sales and marketing, supply chain management, and customer experience delivery. Throughout their career, Navanit has demonstrated a strong track record of driving growth and transformation in the organizations they have worked for.

Navanit Samaiyar obtained a PGDM degree in Finance/Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1986, they attended the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in Dhanbad and earned a B. Tech degree in Mining Machinery. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from GE in December 2002.
