Raj Shekhar

Raj Shekhar is currently the Lead - Responsible AI at NASSCOM, driving efforts to define a roadmap for the extensive roll-out and adoption of responsible AI in India. Raj is also the Founder of AI Policy Exchange, a global community guiding the responsible adoption of AI. Additionally, Raj serves as a Member of the Founding Editorial Board for the AI and Ethics Journal at Springer Nature. With a background in law, Raj has also worked as a Consultant in Data and AI at the International Innovation Corps and as a Policy Analyst at ISC-India Sanitation Coalition. Furthermore, Raj has conducted policy research at various organizations like CITRIS and the Banatao Institute and the Indian School of Business. Raj holds a Master's in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University.
