Iain Shearman

Managing Director at Nasstar Plc

Iain Shearman has been the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Node4 Ltd since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director at Nasstar from August 2021, where they led the integration of the KCOM national business acquisition into Nasstar. Iain developed a business plan and budget for the new unit and implemented a program to transform customer solutions to Internet or cloud-first communication solutions.

Before Nasstar, Iain Shearman held various roles at KCOM. Iain was the Managing Director, Business from August 2019 to July 2021, where they created a single KCOM national business unit and developed sales, marketing, product strategy, and customer support initiatives. Iain also served as the Managing Director, National Network Services from April 2018 to July 2019, where they evolved go-to-market activities and spearheaded the creation of a graduate trainee program.

Prior to that, at KCOM, Iain Shearman served as the Director, National Network Services from May 2017 to April 2018, where they built a new go-to-market business unit and developed a market segmentation model and recruitment program. Iain also held the role of Sales Director, Partner Channel from April 2010 to May 2017, leading a sales transformation program and designing a program to make KCOM the wholesale provider of choice.

Before joining KCOM, Iain Shearman worked at Torch Telecom and Siemens Communications in various business management roles. At Torch Telecom, they were the Business Manager, Partner Services from February 2000 to April 2001. At Siemens Communications, they served as the Business Manager, International Distribution from October 1997 to February 2000.

Iain Shearman attended Nottingham Trent University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in European Business Studies with a French Language Option. Prior to that, they studied at Trent Polytechnic from 1985 to 1989, specializing in European Business Studies. Iain completed their secondary education at Arnold School from 1978 to 1985. Before that, they attended Brindisi American for one year, from 1977 to 1978.
