Jason Oliver

Jason Oliver has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Jason started their career in 1998 as a Technical Consultant and NT Support Analyst at Mmt Energy Solutions. Jason then worked as a Technical Project Manager at CP Ships from 2001 to 2002. Afterwards, they served as an Infrastructure Manager and later as a Network Administrator at Opportunity Links from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, Jason worked as an IT Consultant at Super Aguri, maintaining the IT infrastructure of a Formula One team. Jason then joined EACS as a Consultant from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Jason worked as a Hosting Manager at Euromoney Institutional Investor, where they led a cloud migration project. Jason later served as an Infrastructure Team Leader at Haven Power from 2013 to 2014. Jason then became a Solutions Architect at the Royal Society of Chemistry from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on designing and building their global service platform. Jason worked as a Senior Consultant at Arcus Global from 2015 to 2016, helping local and central government projects on the AWS platform. Since 2016, Jason has held various roles at Nasstar (formerly KCOM), including Cloud Architect, Lead Public Sector Cloud Architect, and currently AWS Ambassador & Technical Practice Lead. Jason has a proven track record of delivering innovative cloud solutions and is experienced in working with AWS and Azure platforms.

Jason Oliver has a educational background in engineering. Jason obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Engineering from Suffolk College between 1992 and 1994. Prior to that, they earned a BTEC First Diploma in Engineering from the same college from 1990 to 1991. Jason completed their secondary education at Stowmarket High School from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Jason Oliver has obtained various certifications in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and other fields, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, and AWS Certified Security - Specialty. Jason has also acquired multiple AWS Knowledge certifications and holds the title of AWS Ambassador. Furthermore, they have obtained an academy accreditation in Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals.
