Meredith Einsohn Sinel has extensive work experience in various roles within the social work and chaplaincy field. Meredith Einsohn served as the President of the Rhode Island Chapter for the National Association of Social Workers starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Chaplains and Social Workers at HopeHealth since 2020. Meredith Einsohn also worked as a Clinician - Psychiatric Intake in the Emergency Department at CharterCARE Health Partners from 2014 to 2022. Additionally, they served as a Hospice Chaplain at VNA of Care New England from 2014 to 2016 and as a Chaplain Intern at Lifespan from 2013 to 2014. Before entering the social work field, they worked as a Fundraising Director at the Jewish Community Day School of Rhode Island from 2006 to 2008.

Meredith Einsohn Sinel holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Policy and Evaluation/Jewish Communal Leadership from the University of Michigan, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Texas, specializing in Social Work, from 1997 to 2000.

In terms of additional certifications, Meredith obtained The Collaboration certificate from the RI Collaborative Interpersonal Education and Practice in January 2021. Meredith Einsohn also obtained a certification from the National Institute of Jewish Hospice through their Jewish Hospice Accreditation in November 2020. In March 2014, they completed the Crisis Management Stress Intervention training. Additionally, they completed the SAVI Training - Systems Analysis Verbal Interaction in 2014, although the institution granting the certification is not specified. Lastly, Meredith has received training in Youth Mental Health First Aid, provided by Bradley Hospital.
