Christina (Tawadros) Mina, MSW, is a seasoned social work professional currently serving as a Senior Practice Associate at the National Association of Social Workers since October 2022. Previously, Christina held positions at NASW-NJ, including Director of Membership and Program Coordinator, from April 2013 to October 2022. Christina’s experience also includes serving as a Literacy Instructor for the International Rescue Committee and as a Development Associate at Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services. Additional roles include Community Social Worker at the Hope Center in McCord Hospital & Vukukanye and NGO Representative to the UN for the International Association of Schools of Social Work. Christina obtained a Master of Social Work with a focus on Community Organizing and International Social Work from the University of Connecticut, where a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Community Studies was also earned.
