Joe Hamilton

Joe Hamilton, SHRM-CP is currently working as the Human Resources Director at the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office since September 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Human Resources Analyst at the City of Shreveport from September 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they served as the General Manager at Verizon from January 2015 to September 2017. Joe started their career at Walmart in March 2010 as the Labor Relations/Manager and worked there until January 2015.

Joe Hamilton, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Northwestern State University from 2008 to 2010. In 2017, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Strayer University. Additionally, Joe obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in 2017. Joe is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to be completed from 2023 to 2025.
