Drew Applebaum

Drew Applebaum is currently the Director of Payment Products at nate. Prior to this, they worked as an Emerging Payment Networks Assistant Vice President at Citi from July 2017 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for tracking and managing data and information for 100+ subscribers and 28 sites as part of a community solar garden project, as well as communication of subscriber metrics and information with the associated energy provider, Xcel Energy. Drew also created hedge analysis summarizing and forecasting potential gains and losses for a proposed renewable energy development over a 6-year period at an hourly, yearly, and monthly granularity by using comparable sites, historical energy price data, and a given hedge shape and price.

Before Citi, Applebaum interned at Geronimo Energy in Finance and Business Development from May 2016 to August 2016. Drew also interned at Internet2 in Legal and Government Relations from January 2016 to May 2016. Their first job was as a Sales Associate at City Sports from August 2015 to December 2015.

Drew Applebaum has a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University with a Major in Economics and Minor in Business Administration. Drew also has a High School diploma from Saint Thomas Academy.
