Laura Panos Smith

Laura Panos Smith, MS, CGC, serves as the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Natera, leading a team across Oncology, Organ Health, and Women's Health since September 2021. Previously, Laura held the position of Vice President of Oncology Operations at Natera, where efforts were focused on building the Oncology Commercial Operations function. Prior to Natera, Laura was the Vice President of Commercial Operations at Ambry Genetics, overseeing multiple commercial functions and strategic initiatives. Laura's earlier roles at Ambry Genetics included Director of Genetic Specialists and Product Manager. Laura's career also includes experience as a Clinical Genetic Counselor at Baylor Scott & White Health, where a hereditary cancer genetics program was developed, and earlier positions as an Internal Sales Executive at NeoChild and a Marketing Intern at Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Laura holds a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
