Shogher Nalbandian

Shogher Nalbandian, MS, LCGC, currently serves as a Laboratory Genetic Counselor for the Horizon Expanded Carrier Screening Team at Natera since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Genetic Counselor at eviCore healthcare from October 2019 to February 2024 and at Labcorp from June 2016 to September 2019, focusing on clinical review and prenatal genetic counseling, respectively. Initial training involved internships at UAMS, the Genetics Center, Hoag Hospital, and St. Joseph Health, covering various areas of genetic counseling. Shogher holds a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Systems Biology from UCLA. Additionally, volunteer work includes providing support to survivors of sexual violence and involvement in a sports program for individuals with Down syndrome.
