Zachary Demko

Zachary Demko serves as the Senior Director of Scientific Communications and Clinical Research at Natera since June 2006, where responsibilities include designing, executing, and publishing clinical studies to validate Natera's diagnostic tests, notably the extensive 20,000-patient SMART registry study. Throughout the tenure, Zachary has contributed to 46 peer-reviewed manuscripts in prestigious journals and established innovative communication strategies for emerging technology within the company. Prior experience includes roles at Synta Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist, where Zachary synthesized over 1,100 novel cancer treatment molecules, and positions at Pfizer and The Scripps Research Institute. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Scripps Research Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
