Saadullah Amin has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at NUST School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, where they focused on seizure detection algorithms in the healthcare domain.

In 2016, Saadullah held multiple roles, including an NLP Intern at SeeAlgo, a Machine Learning Engineer at Fiverr, and a Technology Lead at Sellomni Ltd., where they led a team of ML engineers and developed a cloud-based product search engine in the retail and e-commerce domain.

Saadullah then worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at EDT Software and Lightscope Spend Analytics by Oxford Informatics in 2017 and 2018, respectively, before joining Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) in 2019. At DFKI, they held the positions of Junior Researcher and Researcher, focusing on representation learning methods, question answering, and information extraction.

In 2022, Saadullah joined Saarland University as a Researcher, where they worked on developing an information retrieval assistant for students in university lectures, enhancing zero-shot information retrieval, and utilizing AI technologies from Google.

Finally, starting in December 2022, Saadullah will work as a Research Engineer at natif.ai, where they will continue their research and development work.

Saadullah Amin completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) between the years 2011 and 2015. Saadullah then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Natural Language Processing from the Universität des Saarlandes, which they are expected to complete between 2019 and 2023. In addition to their academic degrees, Saadullah Amin has obtained several certifications, including "Machine Learning Summer School" from the National Taiwan University in August 2021, "Statistical Learning" from Stanford Online in April 2016, "Machine Learning: Regression" from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2016, "Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach" from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2015, and "Introduction to R Programming" from edX in September 2015.
